About me

Gracie Gomes is a 22 year old artist born and raised in Yuba City, California. She has been drawing for as long as she has known how to hold a pencil, and has a passion for portraiture. She is currently attending California State University Chico to earn her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in studio arts. Her work is focused on societal expectations of women's behavior and appearance, as well as the often grotesque lengths we go to in order to achieve beauty.
